HootSuite for Tablets: Social Media Management On iOS, Android and the Kindle Fire

Overseeing your social media profiles has become vastly more complicated in recent years, thanks to the proliferation of dozens of popular platforms for sharing and interaction. The undisputed king of social media management utilities is HootSuite, a full-featured console for making sense of your communications. As CEO Ryan Howard puts it, "We're a single place where you can manage all of your social media, so Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, WordPress, Foursquare, MySpace, all from one spot." Mobile-optimized versions of HootSuite bring the desktop experience to tablets and make managing social media profiles a breeze. The following Android, Kindle Fire and iPad app review will provide a quick rundown of everything HootSuite for tablets has to offer.

HootSuite For Tablets: Benefits & Features
Users can download and install HootSuite on iOS machines, Android devices and the Kindle Fire. HootSuite allows anyone to post content to multiple social networks, track analytics and gauge the effectiveness of promotional campaigns from one centralized location. It also allows teams of workers to access the same social media profiles, making collaboration simple and painless. In addition, it boasts plenty of additional features like automated reports, post scheduling and RSS integration. The app itself is free, though accessing the features of the Pro version requires a monthly subscription priced at $5.99.

Everyday Usage & Performance
When HootSuite's tablet app is first launched, the user is presented with a welcome screen UI that presents options for adding social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Foursquare. Once you've registered your accounts, you can easily receive updates from each service organized into streams. A quick Kindle Fire App Review of the Amazon-specific version demonstrates that it's just as full-featured and quick on Android as it is on iOS. In terms of real world performance, HootSuite provides a similar experience regardless of the platform. Feeds from different social media services are organized into tabs, making it easy to manage profiles even within the confines of a smaller display.

Key Differences & User Feedback
One of the reasons why HootSuite for tablets like the iPad and Kindle Fire is so effective is its collaboration features. This is a key edge for teams and SMBs, as it allows mobile workers to manage accounts regardless of their location at any given time. Another major reason why HootSuite is so popular is that it abstracts away each social media service's clutter and delivers only the most relevant raw data needed. With the extra screen real estate provided by a device like the iPad, HootSuite for tablets is absolute productivity dynamite. The Kindle Fire App Review feedback on Amazon tells us that real world bloggers are more than satisfied with HootSuite's peerless usability. Feedback from iTunes and Google Play is just as positive, proving that HootSuite's mobile functionality is equal to that of the desktop version.

The Verdict
Social media has become such a big part of the e-commerce landscape that it's almost unthinkable that a business wouldn't leverage it to increase online sales and revenue. Even for casual bloggers, an app like HootSuite is a godsend when it comes to saving time, increasing productivity and streamlining effort. As the ecstatic iPad app review and Android App Review responses from users clearly show, HootSuite is one social media manager that's not going anywhere any time soon. Considering its low price of free, you've got no reason to ignore its potential as far as improving your social media reach is concerned.
